The difference between IELTS and TOEFL

1、出题机构

1. Topic organization

（1）相异点：雅思(International English Language Testing System，简称IELTS)是由英国文化委员会(The British Council)、剑桥大学地方考试委员会(CUCLES)和澳大利亚教育国际开发署(IDP Education Australia)三大国际性机构联手举办的国际英语水平测试。而新托福TOEFL iBT(Internet Based Test)则是2005年9月美国有着100多年历史的老牌教育服务机构Educational Testing Service，简称“ETS”在全球推出的一种全新的综合英语。

6、考试相关费用

雅思考试费用经常涨价，2017年考的时候1960一次。转考退考缴纳人民币420元；复议费1000元(复议单项和多项收费相同)ukvi 2000一次。而2018年4月1日之后，雅思考试费用上涨至2020元。

雅思考试中普通培训类和学术类阅读部分的试卷完全不同。
